EDI Academy Expands Curriculum, Offering Series on Sarbanes-Oxley
San Diego, CA β October 3, 2007.
The EDI Academy announces that it is expanding its curriculum to include case
studies and best practices for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and its relationship
to EDI. This development comes by popular demand from professionals in the industry
requesting information about SOX. EDI falls under the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 general
computer controls. The curriculum will have real world examples of how Sarbanes-Oxley
is implemented in an organization that is utilizing EDI. The EDI Academy will include
the case study starting in the next training session on October 16th and 17th in Chicago
and November 6th and 7th in New York. There are still seats available for this training
session, but they are filling up fast. Registration forms can be found at the EDI Academy
website.
EDI Academy's classes are led by highly qualified EDI professionals who have years
of experience in the industry. The instructors entered this field fifteen years ago
and have extensive experience, in many industries, and understand how EDI β and SOX β affect
companies in different ways. The instructors can answer any questions students may have,
and can advise professionally on how to handle specific circumstances or situations that
might be daunting or confusing for the inexperienced EDI operator. EDI training is becoming
more and more important to businesses; to get ahead, itβs important to get the best training
possible. To find out more about the EDI Academy visit: www.ediacademy.com.
