856 Pick and Pack example – Custom Pack
Retailer Assigns one single item # to multiple vendor styles.
Custom Pack is a variety of items prearranged by the buyer and vendor.
Retailer purchases, replenishes and stocks as a single SKU, these items may or
may not have separate U.P.C. #’s. Retailer would assign one unique item number
(Buyer’s SKU) for multiple vendor style numbers (VA). Retailer would also have multiple
U.P.C. #’s assigned to an item. This would not be a Retailer’s Assortment Item for
Point of Sale purposes.
