Wakefern Supplier EDI

Wakefern Supplier EDI Guidelines

Wakefern has made the elimination of costs in the supply chain an important objective. EDI is the exchange of standardized business documents between trading partners and accomplishes this task in an efficient and accurate manner, while offering significant savings in the process. Wakefern actively pursues the use of EDI to communicate with all its suppliers.

EDI: How to get started?

Vendors that currently have EDI capability should contact the Wakefern EDI Department to establish an EDI relationship. When Wakefern receives your EDI trading partner information and complete the set up of your vendor information, it will provide you with a list of all items in the database. It is imperative that you take advantage of this opportunity to review the UPC’s and have Wakefern correct any errors prior to the start of EDI communications.
